criminal defence attorney – selects five students from Middleton University to
intern at her firm (Wes, Connor, Michaela, Asher and Laurel).

Annalise’s first client is a woman who is accused
of attempted murder of her boss and lover

Wes (one of the interns) discovers that Annalise is
cheating on her husband Sam
The main story line throughout Season 1 is of a missing
student, Lila Stangard and the unveiling facts of her murder. The structure of
the series is intriguing with cases being solved backwards – always having
flashbacks and constantly revealing facts – which keeps the audience guessing
of what happens next!
